Consumer ombudsman
The consumer customer is hereby informed of the possibility of having recourse, in the event of a dispute relating to the company’s general terms and conditions of service, to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method.
The consumer customer is hereby informed that disputes may not be submitted to the mediator if the request is manifestly unfounded, or abusive, or has been previously examined, or is in the process of being examined by another mediator, or by a court. The same applies if the consumer customer lodged his request with the mediator more than one year after his written complaint to the firm, or if the dispute does not fall within the mediator’s field of competence, or if the consumer does not justify having previously attempted to resolve his dispute directly with the firm by means of a written complaint.
The company also informs consumer customers of the existence of an Online Dispute Resolution (“ODR”) platform to which they may have recourse. Users can access this platform via the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
